Then & Now

I was blessed to have many strong women in my life, but when it comes to my love for sewing and crafting my Grandma Faye has always been my inspiration. My early start at the sewing machine was born out of a necessity to keep me out of trouble. In that, I found myself either sitting on my grandma's lap while she sewed or sitting at her feet playing on the floor while listening to her tell stories while she sewed. That is exactly how it began and to this day, every single time I walk into my sewing room and start on a project, I can feel her with me. It's something I hope never goes away!

As for now, I am mom to four grown daughters. I work a regular M-F gig like most everyone else. I have Multiple Sclerosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis and both continue to teach me on a daily basis to be humble and kind because you just never know what someone else is dealing with. I have called Tennessee my home for the last 8 years and absolutely love this place! I am very blessed by the people in my life and any day I get to create is an amazing day!

I have been wanting to start a creative business for as long as I can remember but have allowed life to get in the way. I was either too busy or too fearful of doing so. So after many stops and starts and lots and lots of support from friends and family, Love Peggy Designs has finally come about and I couldn't be more excited!
